What are the advantages of digital CAD-CAM technology for zirconium veneers and crowns?
- the crowns are more aesthetic, because the gray shadow cast by the metal near the gum is no longer visible
- they look natural and allow light to pass through, unlike metal-ceramics which are opaque.
- full zirconia crowns are both beautiful and durable
- requires less grinding of the tooth
- better precision through computer-aided zirconia block milling technology

What are the benefits of digital CAD-CAM technology for fixed dentures on implants with individualized crowns?
- the crowns are seen individually (one by one) and not “en bloc” joined together, like metal-ceramics.
- the work is easier and more flexible, because titanium is lighter than cobalt
- the work is not chipped and the teeth are not broken, because they are monolithic
- if accidents occur that require the replacement of a tooth, it can be reproduced from the archive to the laboratory immediately and individually replaced in one visit.
- the screw holes are not visible, being covered with crowns.
- the patient can see a faithful copy of the resin work before completion and can request all the desired changes before the final material is made, the subsequent adaptation being immediate.

What does Smile Design mean?
- analysis and design of the smile based on photographs of the teeth and the face, to see before the application of veneers and dental crowns which is the most suitable shape and size of them, in relation to the features of the face and the dynamics of the lips.
- the patient chooses on the computer which shape and size he likes from dozens of different variants.
- chosen shape is reproduced in the laboratory and tested before tooth preparation to confirm expectations. Only after finalizing the changes on the provisional veneers do we move on to making the final ones.
What are provisional veneers and what is the advantage of a try-in, a mock-up?
- they are resin versions of the final works, which the patient tries on at home and may request changes before the teeth are prepared for the actual work.
- they are made computerized in the laboratory or directly by the doctor, by copying smile-design and then 3D printed in our dental laboratory
- has the advantage that all “tests” are done beforehand, on the computer, and not directly on the patient. See exactly how the smile and mastication will be before the final work is made from definitive materials, and the adaptation will be much faster.
What are the benefits of intraoral scanning over the classic silicone impression?
- digital scanning is much more comfortable, compared to the volume of silicone fingerprints, without the 5 min time for snuff.
- without touching (it’s a video) and with the possibility of being interrupted at any time.
- shorter processing time: it arrives instantly in the laboratory via the Internet, without courier.
- higher precision: material errors given by silicone, plaster, wax, metal or the human operator are eliminated.
What are the advantages of the Modjaw digital articulator?
- records functional movements: chewing, speaking, grinding in dynamics, as the patient does them naturally, without materials interposed between the teeth.
- transmits the information to the laboratory and the work is perfectly adapted to these existing natural movements, through the compatible software in the dental laboratory.
- shortens the adaptation time with new works, especially if they are total rehabilitations.
- it allows the analysis of masticatory movements and the correction of occlusal contacts, a very important aspect after the removal of orthodontic appliances to maintain the obtained result.

How does the surgical guide help dental implant insertion interventions?
- the guide is a transparent piece that allows the insertion of the implant in perfect positions according to prosthetic, being performed computerized in the laboratory after the analysis and superimposition of the computed tomographic investigation and the intraoral scan.
