Is the insertion of dental implants under general anaesthesia possible?
Yes, it is! The insertion of dental implants, the multiple and laborious tooth extractions performed on adults become more readily accepted by patients who have endured traumatic experiences. The anaesthesia is administered nasopharyngeally and the surgery is completely safe!
Is it advisable for children to undergo such surgeries?
The extraction of reincluded primary teeth and of supernumerary teeth performed on children may be carried out without the little one suffering or remembering about it. The anaesthetist has extensive expertise in the field of ENT paediatric surgery.
How long do the surgery and subsequent recovery take?
Surgeries may last from 30 to 120 minutes, with fast recovery. The patient may either go home, accompanied by their carer, or they may stay in the practice for a few hours, under medical supervisions, if they want to.
We are focusing on your emotional comfort at all times and we are constantly evolving in order to put a big smile on your face!
